>I just told a classmate of mine that my days can be kinda categorized in ‘good’ and ‘bad’, depending on my mood mainly. I can be such a puber with different moods and stuff, can really go crazy of myself then, but today was really enjoyable.
Firstly because it felt like the first summerday here in Holland. I still feel like it’s warm, whereas I’m cold very fast. I guess it almost reached 30 degrees, and with biking and stuff that was quite hot :P. You won’t hear me complain though…
Then today was the day I was volunteering at the Mode Biënnale again. I have to say… it was much more calm than last time -but that was a Saturday-, so also more relaxed actually. I just sat there at a little chair outside one of the pavilions, and was so smart to take a Grazia with me this time, my favorite magazine haha. I felt quite nice. I could relax, because there was not much more to do than read, there was some music on the background, there were people downstairs enojoying the day on a terrace, and I felt like doing something for the fashion world. So yeah, it was definately better than last time :). Probably I’ll do it one more time, next thursday or friday.
While reading the Grazia, there were some things I marked in there, and I’ll just share them with you.
Patricia Field: ‘It’s always the same. A trend starts, gets satiated, gets boring, dies and a reaction will follow up’.
I like that idea. Never thought about it as concrete as she describes it here. I think she’s right.
Patricia Field again: ‘I wonder why everyone is so interested in fashion. I adore it, it’s fun, but there are other things to talk about’.
I don’t know. It feels like she’s got a lack of attention, and because of that says something unexpected, and something that might be liked, because it’s not so superficial. I just find it pretty hypocritical for one of the greatest stylists in the world.
Renate Verbaan (Dutch presenter): ‘Maybe it’s a Scorpion-feature. I think that every Scorpion will have a small drawer in his/herself where nobody ever gets to’.
This is something more personal: more the case for me I guess. Renate Verbaan and I have the same birtday (27th of October), so obviously we’ve got the same sign of the Zodiac as well. I think she’s right.
Then the outfit, which is very relaxed, and not very stunning. I did enjoy it. It’s a pity you don’t see the upper half very well, because it’s a bit overlightened, but I think there’s the strength of this outfit.
When I was in primary school I already wore boots in the Summer ones. People looked at me very strangely. Maybe you’ll do the same. I just realised that I’ll probably do because I love to wear shorts or skirts at this time of the year, but when I’d wear sandals under it, I’m afraid it’ll be too cold. Besides so much bare leg makes me feel so naked, so I think that’s why. I don’t think it doesn’t really suit or something, it was just quite warm today.
The pants doesn’t have a nice symmetrical knot, the other one just broke down. There was also one on the back, but it also broke down. I don’t really care, ’cause I guess the pants cost me 2 euros or something. And I think it’s still great! I always doubt a little bit of shorts. They’re often too sporty for me, but this one is just perfect. And shorts are just way more comfortable than skirts, to my opinion.
And as last thing: yeaaah, I broke the records again. My last comment got 25 comments. How great is that! Besides I also appreciate the 31 one people following me by now of course.
Enjoy!
Maybe it’s really childish, but I can watch them houres… they’re so cute 😛
