>The second part of my Fashionscene column where I look back to my outfits of the past year. For part 1 in Dutch, click here. For part 2 in Dutch click here. For the discussion about the responses and so click here.

This week my personal blog (which means this one) one year! Where I started the blogging a bit sceptical, by now my blog has become very precious to me. My whole fashion life has been passing here, but my outfits always have played the most important role…

When I look back to the second half of this past year, I can find myself in much more looks already. Earlier I could have the feeling to dress crazy to not be boring sometimes, in the mean time I learned the opposite: how beautiful simplicity can be. I still kept my signature of layers and color though, and often tried out new things. That’s why I hope to surprise you gladly with part 2: August until January.

8th of August: An outfit with a great summer feeling during a holiday at Turkey. I was very much in love with the Zara shorts which I picked up at the last moment in the sale. The shoes are a little bit chic for the beach, but it’s my style to be a bit overdressed.

30th of August: One of my favorite outfits ever. I love the heels, but wear them very rare as they’re the most uncomfortable pair I have. Furthermore I love the top in combination with the leather-look pants; a little bit odd, but still stylish.

13th of September: An outfit with much color again, but the fact that they’re not so bright makes me stop from looking like a fair. If I should choose a ‘typical-me’ outfit then it could be this one. I’m not sure about the booties though: they’re too bright and stand out too much in an outfit where there’s a lot of color already.

18th of October: A bit tougher look with an DIY customized jacket. I’m a big fan of the scarf and pants, which makes me wear them often. The scarf has such sweet colors and is nonchalant to wear and the pants is still a jeans, but just a bit more special because of the baggy fit. Only the shoes are not very right to me again. Open shoes with skincolored stockings are actually pretty ugly to me, but I guess I just couldn’t resist the heels.

20th of October: Very neat, but classy as well. I’m a big fan of black and white outfits and the lipgloss I’m wearing here: it matches great with my haircolor. The belt is a little bit outstanding, but that’s what I find refreshing about it. Besides I could recommend a baggy legging like this to anyone: it’s very comfi and practical as well! To end with I use the scarf a lot during these cold winter days to give a cool (in the sense of: cold) outfit a bit of an extra touch.

1th of November: An outfit that is quite different from the other outfits in this list because of the bright colors. I find it better than the outfits from my previous column though. Because I kept it calm with just the wooden bracelet and grey stockings, the orange and green can shine.

11th of November: With this look I received a lot of positive responses. It’s casual and neat at the same time, I think that’s why it’s so strong. I think this outfit is beautiful, but a little bit boring to my habits as well. It’s missing something odd which doesn’t make it a daily wear…

5th of December: One of my favorites: feminine but tough as well. Especially for Sinterklaas I put on one of my highest heels. The combination of black and brown isn’t always a good match, but I think it’s really beautiful here. The ecru color of the top returns in the belt and shoes, who match together because of the animalprint of course.

10th of January: I was wearing this the day after my column about the weather was online. I promised to adapt better to the weather, that’s why I put on a lot of layers against the cold. Besides I chose flat boots to pace with through the snow. What was my family proud at me! For my style this outfit is a bit too baggy and tough actually, but the bracelet and necklace make up a lot.

17th of January: An outfit in the category ‘simpel but not boring’. Something outstanding at the shoulder is  thé trend at the moment of course, where I don’t have any problems with. Look what the outstanding shoulders do with this simpel top! Besides I’m a big fan of the babypink color. The booties emphasize the cute feeling I get with this outfit; I think they’re very appropiate here, though I don’t like them very much on themselves. You see; you can value an item the best way when you imagine it as part of an outfit it will be the most appropiate with…

…with this tip I want to end up this two-piece column. It was a lot of fun to look back and it gives me a lot of energy to take care of a lot of fabolous outfit for the upcoming year! Till next week!
