>It’s like a love/hate relationship; the high waisted jeans. I still don’t know about it. You? I love to have a bit more time on Sundays to dress up and make up the way I want to and maybe take the time to try some new things. This is a bit boring to me, but it’s a form of stylish as well right?

I’m busy with a process in my mind about my wardrobe, my style, my way of dressing, my choices of buys. I want a wardrobe with useful, practical (can’t believe I say this!), relatively comfortable (can’t believe I say this either!), beautiful, relatively good qualitative clothes. Just because I’m quite experienced by now about which things I wear and like and which things will be neglected in my closet. I’m reducing my shoe collection from over the 100 till not more than 30 pairs. Not because there’s a limit at 30, but because the other 70 are -on one way or another- rubbish to me. I’m reducing my clothes to what I enjoy and like to wear, what fits right, what can be combined and what can wears relatively comfortable. I’m really scaring myself off what will be left after this process but I’m absolutely sure…
It brings me peace and space to do this and I like the idea that I can’t be tempted to wear clothes that are just not nice, just because I’m pushing myself I need to wear them one time. This effects my way of selecting what I want to buy a lot as well. Now I’m really throwing away a lot of stuff I don’t want any new stuff being with them as it would be nothing less than just throwing away money.

Do you get it? What do you think?

Wearing today:
