>Via the lovely Linda (who loves nail polish maybe even more than I do, haha…) I found this Bulgarian web shop. Bulgarian, how cool, haha?
Anyway, they sell nail polish for véry small prices. Linda found holographic nail polish there. You can have a look here, here, here and here for her very pretty swatches.
The shop is in Bulgarian, but you can choose the English option too. Ordering at this shop wasn’t that easy to me. If you are interested: you just follow the procedure, but you’ll see no option to pay via Paypal – though Linda had told me you actually can. What you do to pay via Paypal: chose the option ‘pay with delivery’ at check-out and then e-mail the shop and ask for a Paypal invoice of your order number.
Then another thing: if you are an impatient person, don’t order! I had to wait for about one month before I received my invoice. I e-mailed them a few times whether they had forgotten me, but every time they told me: please be patient, the invoice will come when your order is ready. However: at the end they were right! After different weeks my invoice came, and then it took about one week for my order to arrive, not too long. Conclusion: it took some time, but I was happy! I have to add to this that their (English speaking) help desk is very good: they answer very fast and to satisfaction.
Enough talking, I have pictures to show you! I wanted to show you these Classics, as I never heard of the brand before. The best part is: they cost only €0,48 each! Some bad news to add: sending costs were about €10,00 (don’t know where to check it any more). That means you are relatively cheaper off buying more (with a maximum of nine or ten, I think).
Unfortunately, the shop doesn’t provide you swatches and there was no place on the web to find them either. That’s why I just ordered some random colours to try them out.
I was lucky: I loved all the colours. Okay, the red one isn’t that original, but the shade is beautiful anyway. So far, so good!
Here you can see the numbers I ordered, so you can find them back in the shop.
149. This colour is a perfect baby blue one. However, the substance was bad to apply. I don’t mind it that much when polish is still sheer after one coat, but this one was very stripy too: not pretty! It took me about four layers to get this result, but they were immediately ruined, as I applied the coats fast after each other: I just don’t want to wear stripy applied nail polish!
139. Oh, how I felt in love with this one! The colour is like one I didn’t see before: golden, but with a bit more shimmer and with a kind of green finish. So original! In contrast with the previous polish, this one was very easy and good to apply. You are fine with one coat, but here I applied two.
139 & 161. Then applied the blank 161 polish over 131, to get a kind of nail art effect. See the 161 holographic parts on the first picture! Though the effect was fine, I wouldn’t wear this polish that much. It looks a bit childish to me.
What do you think about this shop and these shades?
