>Now the temperature reaches higher levels, I think it is nice to show your toes. Pretty toes, I have to add.
To be honest: my feet look really bad during winter time. Life consists of priorities, and I am not updating my feet to perfect level while they are covered complete winter. However, as I really dislike toes without any care or polish (I think polished toes look so much more fun in summer), it was time to live like my judgement and make my feet summer proof!
I am warning you: if you dislike to see feet (I know some people do!) then skip this post!
These wear the tools I took out. I hope everything is clear, as I am sure that I will use the wrong English terms if I’ll mention them. However, if you have questions about anything: just let me know!
With my ‘summer proof goal’, I kept in mind to result in something like this: a french ‘pedicure’ I did during my holiday in Turkey two years ago. The pedicure itself wasn’t that good, as I had to walk the rest of the holiday with two infected big toes, but at least I loved my nails.
Before
This is how my feet looked: pretty bad. As I wear a lot of bad shoes and I always walk through pain, I am really happy I have feet who still work properly. However: they show that they have a tough job to do, and I hoped to change that!
A week before I took these shots, I put on some quick black holographic polish (yes, I’m quite into those lately,
see the post I did about them a few days ago) on my toe nails, as I hate bare nails -sorry to mention it again. However, it had chipped already, and I thought that black wasn’t the best colour for summer days, so I took it off.
A file, foot butter, some cuticle removing and callous skin removing, and french manicure polish later I was happy with the result…
After
I feel quite bad about the fact that I have to practice more to do my toe nails, but I just think is really hard. Maybe I just need glasses, but the distance is pretty much bothering me and disturbing me from not working as need as on my fingers nails. Luckily, toe nails aren’t seen as up close as finger nails either.
Judge yourself: this looks a whole lot ‘summer proof’ better, right?
Are your toes summer proof yet?
