>I received a new tag! This time from Linsey with her Une Beauty blog. She is a very loyal reader of my blog, and gave me various compliments in her version of this tag, which I’d like to thank her for.
This tag is all about saying ‘what you love’ about someone, which I think is a very good thing, I should definitely practice more often. Actually, this tag was meant to tell what you love about “YouTube’ers”, but I am going to use it just like Linsey did: I am going to tell you what I love about bloggers.
Click here if you’d like to read Linsey’s tag (it’s in Dutch). I hope you enjoy mine! Let me know where you do and don’t agree!
With who would you like to exchange hair?
To be honest, with no one. I am not the ‘exchanging’ person, because I love the challenge of improving and dealing with myself through my life, and it’s part of that challenge to accept every part of my body.
However, there is one girl (well, there are more, but she’s my example now) which I really adore her hair off. I wouldn’t like to exchange my hair, as I love the colour like this (however, one day I’d like to be a blondie, as it’s about the only colour I didn’t have yet), but I do think it is absolutely stunning: Victoria’s hair, from Victoria Törnegren blog. I didn’t see such perfect curls in my life before I guess.
Of who do check her blogposts first?
I can’t give you names, as they’re too many of them. However, I don’t mainly scroll through Bloglovin for names, but I’ll just check whether the photo with it catches me. Or the title. Or both. But actually I just want to see them all. With over 400 new blogposts per day that has become quite impossible however.
Who has the nicest style?
For style inspiration I love to check Sabrina’s afterDRK the most. She’s the ultimate Dutch fashion blogger for me, and her style is nowhere near mine, but I love her simplistic point of view towards fashion and I think she’s a very business like, strong, confident girl who knows what fits her. However, of course that’s just an impression, but that idea makes me love her blog more.
On who you can count on?
I don’t really get this question, to be honest. Let’s say Andy’s Style Scrapbook? I think she is a very loyal, daily blogger, though I never received a comment back from her -looking at her comments, this also is quite impossible. This is absolutely no must for me, but in case you think that is part of the ‘count on’. I think you can count on her, because she doesn’t act like she has a lot of priorities above her blog, and her looks are online on a daily base.
Who has a lot of self confidence?
I mentioned Sabrina already, but I think there are more. To my impression, more Dutch fashion bloggers are confident than international ones. Maybe this is because as a Dutch fashion lover, you have quite a hard time in the Netherlands? With which I mean, that there is not much appreciation for fashion here, so you have to be strong to ‘survive’ your fashion heart.
Examples of what look like Dutch, confident bloggers are Phuong’s Travel in style and Lyfke’s My lack of style.
If you could be best friends with someone, with who would you like to be it?
I love this question, but I find it a hard one either. As I am very critical towards other people (not always good) there are not a lot of people which I’d like to be friends with. Believe me this sounds more arrogant than I mean it. Who I think is a nice girl is Marjolein from La mode rétro. I think she is confident (there’s the word again, I love that characteristic in people) and a little more out-going and tough than I am (just like Yara, I totally need that).
Who has the cutest blog name?
Though I, in the beginning, thought it was quite a stupid chosen name because of its length, I now say Cindy’s Come over to the dark side, we have candy. To be seen, you have to stand out in the crowd, and that’s exactly what Cindy does with this long name. Also, it perfectly matches herself (her nickname is Candy) and her style (with mainly black clothing).
Who is the most realistic?
I am not sure. Not every blogger is personal enough to share that with me, which of course is no blame. However, as I know her, I love Vera’s (of veracamilla.nl) view towards her blog. Though I know she was quite insecure before, I think she has so much grown into a beautiful person, knowing what she wants. She is very sympathetic, but still really business like. She is a little too stubborn to fall in love and also not a fan of give-aways on her blog. Those ‘uncommon’, individual statements and characteristics belong to her and this individualism is also what she portraits really well on her blog I think. She has hat some luck with her succes, I think, but I believe she truly is a talented blogger.
With who do you like to shop?
Honestly with nobody! I love to shop alone the most.
Which blog do you follow from the beginning?
There might be more, but I am not sure. I am sure about Vera’s blog though, as I remember being quite honoured I was invited as a reader of her blog, when she started. She was still a little ashamed then, and wanted to keep her blog anonymous. What a contrast! So cute, right?
Who do you think has the nicest smile?
I think Yara from This chick’s got style has a very spontaneous, lovely smile.
Of who do you learn?
Of truly every blogger I follow. The world of fashion and beauty is a world in which you’ve never outgrown learning, I think.
Who has the most creative blog posts?
I agree with Linsey here: I think the Dutch Serena from Beautylab has. What I love about her, is that she is really allround. This is something I miss in the national and international blogworld. Serena is posting outfits, reviews, looks, ethical topics, personal posts, health topics and much, much more.
Again this tag is passed to every blogger who likes to do it!
