>The day I heard if I had been graduated or not (the 16th of June), I was in desperate need of something to calm me down. At the end of the morning I decided I would put my energy in my make-up, and focus on nothing more than on my eyes. Guess what? It worked!
Do you like this make-up look? I really adore it. As a colour lover-and-appreciator I felt literally ‘exotic’ wearing this eye make-up. Besides I think this look is quite special with your eyes closed, but with your eyes open it is still pretty subtle and very appropriate for daily wear. There is no special reason I am calling this look ‘exotic’; it was just the association I had. As I wore a quite colourful outfit that day, I thought that a matching eye look could complete.
So, again, what do yóu think?
Eyes:
eBay 88 eyeshadow palette; yellow, green, orange and red shades.
Essence mono eyeshadow: an old nude shade of which the name has disappeared.
I started my eyes with mixing yellow and orange shades untill I found a shade matching with my blazer, to use as a base colour on my eyelids. Then I went using the green shades in my crease and I used a few dark red shades in the outer corner in my crease for some extra depth, effect and multi-colour effect. Then I used some warmer orange shades in the inner corner of my eyes for an intense effect. The Essence mono functioned as a highlighter.
Lips:
Gosh Light’n shine lip glaze; shade no. 05
The outfit I wore together with this make-up look will be in the next blogpost, so stay tuned!
