>Fall 2011 trends – via Zalando UK (new!)

Gepost in fashion

>Of course we know Zalando for a longer time already, but there is an European update for this online shoep, clothing and beauty shop. From now on, all fashion lovers in the UK are able to shop at Zalando as well! You don’t need to be jealous at us Dutchies anymore, because Zalando UK is a new opened web shop from Zalando. Earlier, there were Zalando sites from the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, France and Italy already.

To be honest: I have to admit I think the UK site is better than the Dutch site. There are a lot of comparisons between the two of course, but the combinations, sets and items in the spotlight and on the models look much more trendy and stylish I think. It’s a pity there’s still so much decense on Dutch web shops!

It seems like fall had entered the Netherlands two months ago already, but I think there is a lot more of fall coming up, so what’s better than helping you out a little in making your fashion choices for the new season?

I have picked the items from Zalando UK that I think will be a good investment and choice for the next months. To avoid the term ‘musthaves’, because I hope that every reader will decide herself which of these trends are her personal musthaves. That’s much more important after all!

A red/brown coloured blouse or top
This undefinable red/brown colour is the follow up of the camel colour we saw last year, and I think it’s totally gorgeous. While the camel teints are still very important, this terracotta teint brings our eyes something new, while the warm feeling (for example) this Vero Moda top isn’t less than a camel variant. 36 pounds.

The ‘straight’ coat
This fall and winter season we will see simplistic coats. No military details, no feminine curves, no screamy prints. A straight model like this woolen Vero Moda piece is practicle and functional, though I am afraid it’ll soon not be warm enough for me anymore. 69,95 pounds.

Goth influences
Leather, long coats, and fishnet inspired tops like this Miss Sixty one are another trend you could fall for. Though I always need to get used to these kind of (upcoming) trends, I really love this top and I am still on the hunt for the perfect red (faux) leather trousers! 45 pounds.

Patchwork
One of my favourite shoe brands is definitely Bronx, especially for their (sometimes) fierce heels, or in this case: wedges. These different ‘stripes’ of material – and other forms of patchwork- will be one of the most wearable trends to start with, but make a look a whole lot more interesting than wearing your basic brown or black heels. 129 pounds.

What’s your favourite trend? And which of these influences would you wear of are you wearing already?
