>“Glasses wearer of the year election 2011”

On Thurday I didn’t see the Bas Kosters for Zeeman collection only, I also visited the finals of the ‘Brildrager van het jaar verkiezing’. Every girl in the country – wearing glasses, obviously- could sign up a while ago. After several eluminations, there was still one girl left from every province by last week. They were competing with each other on the runway in front of a professional jury, their family, and… me!

A long post with a lot of photos of the finalist, the visitors and the setting.

No glasses on your nose? You do after you’ve passed these ladies!
Always fun meeting ‘new’ bloggers. Here you see Sabrina and Zafiera.
 Snacks…

… snacks…

… and snacks! In sponsor style of course.

In the jury before, visitor at this edition: Tom Sebastian!

In the category ‘first met’ as well: May. Her amazing blog (and my personal new discovery) is recommended!

Debbie trying out the fake, plastic, and extremely elegant throw-away glasses.

Yvette striking a pose.
The amazing shoes of Elisah.

Beauty blogger alert! Miss Murphy’s Alyssa.
Loved the matching sequin trousers and sandals with the contasting toe nails of Mimi.
Shirley with the amazing haircuff – my current obsession-…
… being proud of her new, beloved rosé Michael Kors watch!
Watching a movie about the stylists of the finals during the show and about their affection with glasses.
Our killer-leggs host of the evening: Nikkie Plessen.

After a short discussion, the jury (in front you see Cara Schiffelers – fashion chief at Grazia Magazine- and – pregnant- model Kassandra Schreuder) was ready to announce the three winners!
Scared faces, because what does Cara have to say?
Third price goes to… Rachella!

Such a cute photo and so cool how Charlotte was clapping so enthusiastic for everyone.
Disappointed expressions…
… because the first price goes to Charlotte! Congratulations girl! She won a trip to Paris, a modelling contract, and a professional photoshoot.
Three proud winners on a row!
Pictures by me
Which girl was your favourite? Do you think Charlotte is a deserved winner?
