>Daily make-up look – Summer

Gepost in beauty

>When I visited the Fee Launch and AIFW, I wore this make-up look. The outfit I wore is coming up soon as well.

Though the weather wasn’t great at that time already – halfway July- I felt like some bright colours and chose for a make-up look that reminded me of nothing else but summer: yellow sun, blue water.

It was quite a hell to apply the make-up because, at that time, the skin of my eyelids and around my eye was very, very irritated. Make-up brought a burning feeling and it didn’t stick on normally for just one minute – fortunateley I managed to keep it on place for some quick photos. Like you know me, I was too stubborn again to just deny my make-up for one day.

By now, I have a comparable problem: my eyes are infected. Can’t wait till all this physical trouble behind me and I can be creative with my brushes again!

Eyes:
NYX eyeshadow base, skin shade.
Tokidoki Mozzarella Cromatico palette, blue and lightest shade.
Essence Quattro eyeshadow, 07: party animal, yellow shade.
NYX Jumbo eye pencil, 624A: Rocky mountain green.

I used the blue shade from the Tokidoki palette as a base colour on my eyelid (right after the eyeshadow base) and then used the yellow Essence shade in the inner side of my eyelid. The dark green was applied in the outer side of the crease, to give my eyes more depth and I ended up with using a highlighter under my eyebrow from the Tokidoki palette again. As a last thing I made the inner half of my lower waterline yellow, and the outerhalf a combination of the blue eyeshadow and green pencil. That’s all!

Cheeks:
Catrice Sun Glow matt bronzing powder, darker skin.
Sleek Limited Edition Caribbean Collection, Aruba blush.

Do you like a bright coloured make-up look like this?
