Though this outfit is simple in colours and items (it doesn’t happen a lot I only wear grey and black), I do think it’s not basic, simple or anything at all. I should wear cardigans more often closed, so you can see their whole shape and details. Sometimes that looks better than wearing it loose as an extra warm item (which can look really good too though!).
And what do you think of my innovative action – wearing the scarf as a kind of belt? I think it works quite well. Not for small people (it ‘breaks’ up my length a lot!), but with my average length I don’t really care.
Do you remember I was talking about needing more basics, in this little black dress post? Well, I think I can say that the same counts for this skirt. Though the model isn’t really basic, the colour and further design is, which makes it perfect for me: a basic with a twist. These, and more of these items, can be found at The Style Department.
